Seth Godin recently launched a new podcast called Akimbo. The second episode entitled Status Roles has blown my mind. I heard Seth talk about this at a gathering I attended. I didn’t quite get it then, but now I do.

As Seth says, when you recognize the way we use status and shame, you’ll be able to see it everywhere. I can’t summarize or lift anything more from his talk, because I think you need to hear it yourself.
